I was about 10 feet in front of sonny with a few friends. It was a mind-blowing concert. Was like a little piece of heaven came down to visit Pawling for awhile.

GREAT review, you have nailed it! I missed that particular show (bummer) but have seen Geoff and Sonny there before! They are amazing. EVERYONE on that stage is amazing!

Crowfoot are wonderful musicians, and great people, too. We have had them here in Bowdoinham for two house concerts, and it is always a great time and a real pleasure. I’m looking for some good house concert-like venues in the Berkshires for Perpetual e-Motion (John Cote and Ed Howe) who are playing in a Greenfield Contra on 22 November. They could do fiddle7guitar workshops that day too if there is interest – Any suggestions!

Echo that, Eilen and the band are outstanding. Saw them at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival in 2008 and am going to see them at St Bedes club near Chorley tonight, can’t wait. Eilens voice and Jerry’s Gretsch, a match made in heaven. Dig?

I agree. I loved this band! I saw them last month at a Cajun Festival in Fremont, California, then I saw Brandon Moreau playing with another band, Ray Abshire, at a club in Berkeley. They’re coming back in October and I hope to get a big group together for the show. Thanks for the article and pictures.
